Our life is crazy just to keep others entertained...
I am currently recovering from a stomach bug that knocked me down yesterday. I am currently focusing on keeping some soup and crackers down and getting in to work.
Last night we were paid a visit by the local police and the owner of the moving company that destroyed our stuff in our move. (To read all about that drama, click here and here). This man brought the police to our home at 9:00pm at night in an attempt to file charges against us for "theft of service" because we have not paid him for the move that destroyed $25,000 of our belongings.
Oh yes, you read that right.

I'm Back!!!!
First, I would like to would like to welcome myself back to the world of the internet. I will do it myself since I never get comments on this thing from the two of you that might read it.
Life has been crazy as we have been continuing to get settled in the new house. We are still lacking furniture and appliances, but hopefully we will have a few things arriving in the next couple of days. In the meantime, it looks a bit like a dancehall in our empty house. If we had any spare time, we could give dance lessons in here. Well, if we knew how to dance. But, I digress...
Things that are happening with me right now:
-I am excited that several members of my family will be in town this weekend for a little reunion. Should be a fun and exciting weekend and I will have aunts & "cousins" here from three different time zones!
-For those of you who graduated from high school with me, I have confirmed that our reunion is on the weekend of November 4th. More details are coming. Can we pretend that this is our 5-year class reunion? I am in favor of that.
-Work is going great. I love my job!
-I am remembering just how hot the Valley is. I think it was 147 degrees today. Roughly.
-We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Ashley & Justin's little man, who is due this month. They will not tell anyone his name, so I will be protesting by calling him 'Little Mr. Peanut.'
